A weekly timetable of regular activities
There is a range of activities provided throughout the week that residents may engage in if they wish. In addition, regular outings are arranged to places of interest in our own minibus and there is entertainment within the home approximately every six weeks. Theatre trips and other events are organized to help you maintain your feeling of belonging to the wider community. We like trying out new activities and any suggestions are considered and where possible, incorporated.
Along with a good balanced diet, we like to keep minds and bodies active as much as possible. Be it games such as scrabble or dominoes or cards there will always be something for you to do. Sitting in or walking around our beautiful garden will be a certain favourite.

Search engines, e-mail, online shopping and Skype are taken for granted by most people these days and are designed to make life easier. But for many elderly people Google is gobbledegook and Skype is pie in the sky. Our touch sensitive screens and oversized mouse will help you become a slick silver surfer and whether you simply want to use the internet to research hobbies, leisure and shopping, or keep in touch with family in far-flung parts of the world we will assist you. Tuition sessions will help those who have never used a computer to find out how easy it can be.
